Young Professionals Network helps Millennials step-by-step how to be successful in Business.

Last week I had another one of my fun little adventures.  I got to go and hang out at a sorority.  Since I look like I'm about 18 years old still it's pretty easy for me to pull off this type of conquest.  I was actually taking my daughter to sign up for her classes when these gals approached us thinking we were both enrolling in college together or something.  As my daughter looked at me and I at her......we both just sighed and said .....EWW!!!   lol.
Anyways...it gave me a unique opportunity to explore the crazy world a bit which I had never had a chance to while I was in college years ago.  I was married at the time and had 2 little kids then, my daughter I was with being one of them.  Well I got to talking with the "sisters" (apparently that's what the sorority gals call themselves), because I wanted to know who was the most brilliant gal at the college.  I'm such a nerd, I actually wanted to be able to talk to somebody who wouldn't roll their eyes at me or talk to me in a language I couldn't understand actually.
Well I ran across this one gal in particular who I was pointed to.  She was quite awkward and shy just like my daughter was at first,   However after I introduced myself and my daughter and we began talking, I realized how UN-shy she really was.  :)  She was absolutely brilliant at exactly what I am looking for with YPN and she had a LOT to say.  It was marvelous!
We went on to have a lovely conversation about life and her history growing up in India and what goals and accomplishments she had for herself.   I kept telling my daughter to pay attention as her gaze would often change from our conversation to the local fraternity boys helping the girls to their rooms.....but girls will be girls right!  Sigh....being a dad is quite a hard feat for an old former football player like myself.  (I'm not really old actually :p  but still)
Anyways, the Indian gal was delighted to be a part of Young Professionals Network as the head of our IT department.  She loves writing code and has a passion for developing websites which is exactly what  we are going to be doing starting the first of the year.   She is quite new however so if anybody want to help guide her or give her advice in this new venture, feel free to email us...I'm sure she would welcome all the help that she can get.
It actually delights me to find people such as this who are up and coming young professionals who have a passion for what they do and want to change the world in a positive way.

This is what starting a company should be all about in my opinion.

Helping to empower and encourage our future generations to grow their professional skills and then help others do the same thing in return.  :)  Call me crazy or weird, but it's just my thought process.
Growing up I had nobody to call on to help me out and had nobody where I could just ask for help with things.  That's why I wanted to start a company where that's basically all we do....is learn and then teach others how to do thing that we never knew also.  Its people helping each other.....for the better of society.
